Arcos is an Italian non-profit cooperative that places and supports the vulnerable in employment. Arcos needed a website that was accessible and streamlined for their unique customers while still providing the charity with enough power to implement their demanding tasks.
Arcos’ website required two different opposing dynamics. The website needed a front facing website that was inclusive and direct enough to be accessible to the most vulnerable users. The users needed to be able to upload CVs, apply for jobs and access important documents. Simultaneously Arcos needed an organisational suite sophisticated enough to monitor their contractors and their users’ diverse needs.
Arcos handles a large amount of sensitive data. Our chief concern was making sure they had enough security to comply with Italian laws, GDPR and sufficient protection for their vulnerable users.
Arcos Onlus has moved from strength to strength sharing their amazing service with the Italian employment sector.

What was unique about what Wehi did?
Wehi visited their site in Italy to talk to the users of the service directly. After interviewing the job seekers and potential employers Wehi built a website that focused on their needs. We implemented a password protected system for employees to access a members’ portal with a second entry point for prospective employers. Throughout the project wehi kept the focus on accessibility so we could help this amazing charity share its work with those who needed it most. Arcos has moved from strength to strength with their new website and Wehi’s continual support.
